‘I can’t believe I ended up in jail!’ Brad exclaimed.
His friends glanced at each other and sipped their drinks. They were all thinking the same thing; Brad knew exactly what he was getting into and should quit complaining.
‘You weren’t in very long.’ Wendy said. ‘And you knew the risks when you got involved.’
‘But look how much money I’ve lost!’
‘You can’t expect to earn money when you’re in jail! Look, I came to have fun tonight but if you’re gonna be miserable, I’m going home.’
‘Roll the dice man.’ Dave said. ‘It’s only a game.’
