Delicious Summoning

“I’ve never cooked for anyone before.” He told me. It tasted too good for a novice cook, but I was inclined to fall into his web of lies because he was just as delicious as the food he’d cooked.

I sit and wait, but nothing. Suddenly, I feel something in my throat.

“From her body, arise my love. Arise.” I hear him scream through the door.
